Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated Ganga Expressway that will reduce the journey from Meerut to Prayagraj from 11 hours to only six.
The 594-kilometre-long expressway, passing through 12 districts, is being seen as a game-changer that will not only reduce travel time but also unlock economic opportunities across western and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
