An alert has been issued for a potential attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Delhi, police said on Saturday.
According to sources, the plotters were likely to target the Delhi BJP headquarters located on DDU Marg, as well as other government offices in the area.
They said that the security agencies were placed on high alert immediately upon receiving the intelligence. Personnel from paramilitary forces have been deployed alongside the Delhi Police.
The sources said that the intelligence inputs have suggested that terrorist organizations may be planning to target the Delhi BJP office and government institutions. Such plots could involve the use of suicide bombers, car bombs, shootouts, or the planting of IEDs.

In the West Bengal Assembly Election 2026, the BJP clinched a landslide victory, bagging 207 seats in the 294-member Assembly and ending the 15-year-old rule of the TMC. The Trinamool, on the other hand, won 80 seats.
