The expanded cabinet will also include representatives of Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and Jitan Ram Manjhi-led Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular).

Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, is also expected to join the cabinet.
Bihar Cabinet Expansion: The Samrat Chaudhary-led Bihar government is set for its first cabinet expansion on Thursday, with as many as 31 members likely to be sworn in as ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP chief Nitin Nabin and others will attend the mega event.
This expansion cabinet is crucial as former Chief Minister and JDU veteran Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, is also expected to join the Bihar government. He formally entered politics and joined the Janata Dal (United) following his father’s resignation from the Bihar assembly.
Citing sources, news agency PTI reported that it was the wish of JDU leaders and workers to see Nishant in the government, but he had initially refused to accept any post, wishing to earn his spurs as a party worker.
As per reports, calls have already gone out to leaders who are expected to be inducted into the cabinet. Both the BJP and JDU finalised their quota of ministers on Wednesday after meetings in Patna.
The expanded cabinet will also include representatives of Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi-led Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular).

Others who have reached the town for Thursday’s function include BJP national president Nitin Nabin, who, incidentally, was a minister in the state cabinet until he was appointed to the top party post in December last year.
Union ministers Jagat Prakash Nadda and Rajnath Singh, both former BJP presidents, Chief Ministers of many states ruled by the party and alliance partners like Union Minister Chirag Paswan, are expected to attend the event.
