PM Narendra Modi, at a Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Barrackpore, predicts poribortan in West Bengal, attacks Trinamool Congress government ‘for doing nothing’ for the state.

PM Modi Says BJP Will Form Government in Bengal, Attacks TMC
PM Narendra Modi on Monday addressed a Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Barrackpore, West Bengal, on the final day of campaigning before the April 29 Assembly election phase. With political activity at its peak, the Prime Minister struck a confident tone, predicting a ‘poribortan’ change in the state.
Referring to the Revolt of 1857, he said Barrackpore, which witnessed the first freedom movement, would now ensure “poriborton” (change). He added that the people of Bengal had given him immense love and support.
PM Modi launched a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress, saying change in West Bengal was near. He expressed confidence that he would return to the state after May 4 for the swearing-in ceremony of a BJP Chief Minister.
“The people of West Bengal are my family. I will come to West Bengal after May 4 to attend the BJP CM’s oath ceremony,” said PM Modi.
