A massive fire broke out at a the Shahberi Furniture Market in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida on Friday evening. The cause of the blaze was not immediately clear.
At least eight fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and efforts are underway to douse the fire, the police said. Goods worth lakhs of rupees are estimated to have been destroyed by the blaze. The fire is believed to have engulfed 4–5 furniture shops, per the police.
