‘Asked Women To Stay Back After Office Hours And…’: The Horror Stories From TCS Nashik Case

What began as a workplace grievance inside a prominent corporate office has spiralled into one of the most disturbing workplace abuse cases in recent memory. The TCS Nashik case, which first surfaced through scattered complaints of harassment, has now exploded into a multi-layered investigation involving allegations of sexual exploitation, coercion, intimidation, and forced religious conversion.

Over the past few days, as more victims have come forward and FIRs have multiplied, a chilling pattern has emerged. The accounts, across police statements, media interviews, and testimonies accessed by multiple media outlets, suggest that what was unfolding inside the office was not isolated misconduct, but a sustained pattern of control, abuse, and alleged coercion. From being forced into isolation to facing deeply personal humiliation, victims describe an environment where resistance invited retaliation.

‘Was Made To Work Alone On Rooftop’

One of the most striking accounts came from an employee who described systematic intimidation after he resisted alleged pressure. “They started sending false reports about me to the head office. They tried to pressure me in various ways,” the victim said. “I realised they were attempting religious conversion in the office, so I opposed them. This made them angry, and they deliberately harassed me and others.”

The harassment, he alleges, went far beyond professional targeting. “Since I did not have children, Tausif and Danish (two of the accused) made personal remarks, suggesting I send my wife to them,” he said. “During an argument, Tausif angrily threw a fan at me and threatened to kill me. I reported this to HR.”

Another victim, speaking to NDTV, described being physically and psychologically isolated: “I was made to work alone on the rooftop. My phone was snatched.” The act, he suggested, was not random punishment but a deliberate tactic to cut him off and exert control.

‘A Colleague Came To Me Crying’

Multiple accounts point to a pattern of sexual misconduct, particularly targeting women employees. “Once, a female colleague came to me crying,” a complainant said. “Tauseef and Danish had done something inappropriate with her. She told me that they behave improperly with women and harass them.”

There are repeated allegations that women were asked to stay back after office hours, only to be subjected to misconduct. “Sometimes they would ask women to stay back after office hours for work and then behave inappropriately,” the statement adds.

According to NDTV, victims also reported “sexually coloured remarks” and inappropriate touching, reinforcing concerns that harassment was normalised and repeated.

‘Forced To Recite Namaz, And Eat Beef’

Among the most controversial and serious allegations are those related to religious pressure and coercion. A complainant said, “From 2022 to 23 March 2026, Tausif Attar, Danish, Shahnawaz Sheikh, and Raza Memon tried to get close to me and insulted my religion, forced me to wear their religious cap and perform namaz, and disrespected Hindu gods and religion.”

He further alleged, “They forced me to eat non-vegetarian food to try to convert me. When I resisted, they harassed me at different workplaces and conspired against me.”

A family friend of the first complainant, who filed a case against Danish at the Deolali Camp police station, described how the situation unfolded gradually inside the victim’s home. Speaking to CNN-News18 on condition of anonymity, he said, “We are not allowed to speak to media, otherwise cops will take action against us.” He added that the woman had been working at the company for nearly four years and had met the accused at the workplace itself. “When her behaviour started changing at home, that’s when the family realised something was wrong. She had started keeping Roza for the last two years,” he said, pointing to a shift that raised concern within the household.

Sensing that something was amiss, the family intervened. “They made her take leave from work and took her to her aunt’s place in Ahilyanagar. She stayed there for 21 days,” he said. It was during this period, he added, that the family was finally able to get her to speak. “They convinced her to open up, and that’s how she recorded her statement.” According to him, the victim revealed that “two people at the workplace were blackmailing her” and that “two seniors were harassing her.” The coercion, he alleged, involved explicit threats, “She was told that if she speaks up, they will release her video on social media and send it to her family.”

Echoing similar claims, a report in Economic Times cited Maharashtra minister Girish Mahajan stating that victims were “forced to offer namaz” and “eat beef,” alongside facing “sexual and mental harassment.”

These claims remain under investigation, but multiple testimonies suggest that religion was used as a tool of pressure and intimidation.

Humiliation, Threats, and Psychological Trauma

The accounts also reveal a pattern of deeply personal humiliation and threats. “They also made obscene comments about women in the office,” the complainant said, adding that the atmosphere became unbearable. “Because of this, I was mentally disturbed,” he stated.

The harassment, victims say, escalated when they resisted. According to NDTV, employees who pushed back faced increased scrutiny, intimidation, and professional targeting.

Multiple Victims, Similar Stories

As more employees come forward, the similarities in their accounts have become harder to ignore.

Fresh reports say that three more victims have come forward with fresh FIRs likely to be registered. Their testimonies reportedly echo earlier complaints of harassment, coercion, and intimidation.

Another recurring theme is the alleged failure of internal mechanisms.

“I reported this to HR,” the complainant said after being threatened. But multiple victims claim that complaints either went unaddressed or failed to stop the harassment. Reports suggest that the company’s internal POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) framework may have been ineffective in responding to the scale and seriousness of the allegations.

How The Case Blew Open: FIRs, Disguises, And Arrests

The case did not emerge all at once. It began with individual complaints, back in 2022, some of which initially did not gain traction. But the turning point came when women employees, suspecting deeper misconduct, began documenting and exposing what they were facing.

According to reports, “disguised women” and internal testimonies helped gather evidence that eventually led to police action. As more victims gained confidence to speak up, multiple FIRs were registered, each adding new layers to the allegations.

The investigation has since expanded, with police probing sexual harassment complaints, allegations of coercion and intimidation and claims of religious pressure. The police have now filed nine FIRs in the case with a similar pattern of allegations.

Several accused, including Tausif Attar, Danish, Shahnawaz Sheikh, and Raza Memon, have been named across complaints, and arrests have been made as part of the ongoing probe.

Nida Khan, a Human Resources manager linked to a Nashik BPO unit associated with TCS, has also been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation. As an HR manager, she was responsible for addressing employee grievances and ensuring compliance with POSH regulations. She is suspected of failing to act on multiple complaints submitted by women employees over an extended period.

The investigation is still unfolding. But for many who worked inside that office, the damage, psychological, professional, and deeply personal, has already been done.
