Embassy asks Indians to stay indoors for 48 hours, avoid power sites and coordinate travel amid rising tensions.

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has advised Indian nationals still in the country to remain where they are and stay indoors, as a deadline set by US President Donald Trump for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz тАФ or face an escalation in the conflict тАФ approaches.
The advisory also urged Indians to avoid power grids, military installations and the upper floors of multi-storey buildings.
тАЬIndian nationals who are still in Iran must stay where they are for the next 48 hours, avoiding all electric and military installations and upper floors of multi-storey buildings, remaining indoors, and coordinating any highway movement strictly with the Embassy,” it said.
Tensions in West Asia continue to escalate following the US-Israel strikes on Iran since February 28.
