‘IIT Baba’ Abhey Singh Ties The Knot With Bengaluru Engineer, Pictures Go Viral

Abhey Singh, who is popularly identified as “IIT Baba” and who grabbed all the eyeballs during the Mahakumbh Mela, has reportedly married a Bengaluru-based engineer. The wedding took place on February 15 in Himachal Pradesh, coinciding with the festival of Mahashivratri.

According to media reports, Singh tied the knot with Pratika after knowing her for nearly a year. The couple later travelled to his hometown in Jhajjar, Haryana, after which the news of their wedding caught public attention.

Pratika said their relationship began as a friendship and slowly grew stronger over time. She described Singh as a simple, honest and truthful person, adding that they are happy together.

Abhey Singh, originally from Haryana, studied aerospace engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay before choosing a different path. He rose to prominence during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, where his ability to explain spiritual ideas in fluent English drew attention.

He has previously said that he stepped away from science to follow a spiritual journey. Singh also shared that he lived in Mumbai for four years and later explored photography and the arts.

Now a devotee of Lord Shiva, he often speaks about the connection between science and spirituality. He has said that while science explains the physical world, a deeper understanding of it can guide a person towards spiritual thought.
