City social worker appointed to state human rights panel - The Tribune


City-based social worker and writer Praveen Abrol has been appointed as a member of the Punjab State Human Rights Commission. Active on women’s issues in the city, she expressed gratitude for the appointment and said she would discharge her duties with honesty and dedication.

For the past 20 years, she had been continuously working to make women aware of their rights and duties, as well as helping them become self-reliant. Therefore, she has been given this opportunity to serve, for which she would remain deeply grateful to the commission.
