Security forces launch joint search in Araham forest Ganderbal after tip on terrorist movement, gunshots heard, area cordoned off, top police officials monitor operation

Gunshots were heard during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the forest area of Araham in Ganderbal, central Kashmir, on Tuesday.
According to sources, a joint operation by teams of Police, Army, and CRPF was launched in the upper reaches of the Araham area after officials were tipped off about terrorist movement in the area.
The search operation intensified in the aftermath of firing sounds, and the area was cordoned off.
According to officials, the situation is being closely monitored by top police officials in the region.
