Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is all set to enter the Rajya Sabha while potentially stepping down from his current post. According to sources and media reports, Kumar is scheduled to take oath as a Rajya Sabha member on April 10. Ahead of the ceremony, he is expected to travel from Patna to Delhi on April 9 and stay in the national capital for two to three days. During this visit, he is likely to hold meetings with senior BJP leaders.
Sources further suggest that Kumar may resign as Chief Minister shortly after his return to Patna, paving the way for the formation of a new government in Bihar. His return to the state is anticipated on or after April 11.
Subsequently, it is expected that new government will be formed in Bihar after that. With no official confirmation, sources indicate that the new government would be formed by mid-April.
